02 Purpose

This is not a journal. I keep a real journal in my bedside drawer to detail and remember the events of each day. I do not need another. After a few days of observing the use and intent of this space, I have come to a conclusion:

This online record is a blank wall. A blank wall in no special place within a city that stretches beyond what can be perceived. Whether or not someone looks, reads, or thinks about a wall is pure chance. People do not typically stop for walls, but i choose to blemish this one all the same: Not every Icarus has the opportunity or humility to reflect on their fall from the sun.

I suppose I am to make friends with like-minded walls.

That is a very profound way to look at these, Tezuka-san. It's a perspective I hadn't considered before, but I like it.

Mostly I use it to keep up with friends or advertise for my shop.

Indoor and outdoor plants, seeds, garden supplies, cut flowers, flower arrangements, and we do Christmas trees starting the first of December.

Sadly, our selection of bonsai isn't very large, but perhaps that might be something we can expand. I'll have to talk to Momo-kun and see if he thinks it would be profitable.

Exactly! And really, it's no one's fault if a bonsai just...happens to jump into your arms and come home with you.

There's a wide variety of them to choose from. And if you like, Momo-kun can craft an arrangement for you based on your flower choices.

Hmm, I hadn't considered that possibility. But it does sound like something bonsai could do.

He does, and as soon as I get a chance to, I'm going to legally declare him co-owner of the place. He's more than earned it with how much he's done to keep it running while I've been laid up.
